What am I up to?
Work:
Working my 6th season at Mountain Road Cycles, a bicycle shop on the East side. I worked there through high school and college.
Play:
Not currently training for anything so my routine has been going to the gym 3 times a week: biceps, triceps, back. The other days I run. We’ve been getting a lot of rain since I’ve settled in (at least when I’m not working at Mountain Road), so biking has been on the back burner :(. Still getting a feel for my schedule and will be fitting in yoga classes which I count as shoulders and chest, since those are my least favorite weight lifting wise ;).
Writing:
Wrote this piece for the Mountain Road Cycles blog about gel nutrition for riders. Take a peak here. I will be posting more stuff for their blog, and have already brainstormed a list of ideas for each week.
Travel:
Have a weekend trip coming up in a few days! My friend’s engagement party is in Toronto, Canada. I’m going with my mom and staying in a bed and breakfast with an Indian fast food place right next door and about 1/2 mile from downtown. Could it get anymore perfect? Probably not. Already planning my runs to explore the town.
